Silvercel Non-Adherent Antimicrobial Dressing

Silvercel Non-Adherent Antimicrobial Alginate Dressing is the next generation of Silver Antimicrobial Dressing with the unique features of a Non-Adherent layer to maximise protection of the wound bed particularly at dressing change. The unique composition: a mixture of alginate, carboxymethylcellulose, and silver coated nylon fibres manages exudate effectively in infected or heavily colonised wounds. While the unique film layer keeps the dressing simple and convenient to use, minimising pain and trauma at dressing change for your patients. Silvercel Non-Adherent is an effective barrier to bacterial penetration, which may help reduce infection in moderate to heavily exudating, partial- to full-thickness wounds. Combine the antimicrobial strength of silver with the enhanced exudate management properties of alginate technology to reduce trauma to the wound bed during dressing changes. The dressings have a unique, perforated design for free flow of exudate into the dressing while staying strong for removal, even when wet.

Silvercel Non-Adherent Dressing Indications

As the product contains alginate it may assist in supporting the control of minor bleeding in supercial wounds. It is also suitable for use, under medical supervision, in the management of infected wounds, or wounds in which there is an increased risk of infection.
